Why there are only 100 Lifetime Memberships available for BTST and DriveProtect Members?

This is an interesting question that’s definitely worth answering openly and honestly.

As you’ll know if you’ve been a long time BTST Member, we’ve always been reluctant to offer a lifetime subscription to anything. This is because the responsibility is then extremely high to honor your future obligations.

If an organisation were to take an up front payment for life from all their customers… And then new Customers started to decline over time for one reason or another… The company may then not have the financial ability — or the financial incentive — to continue operating, and therefore would be unable to honor the promises made to their Customers.

That’s why we’ve always refused to offer Lifetime Memberships in the past.

And for that reason we’ve never — and will never — turn DriveProtect into a “pay only once”
service for all Members.

However, DriveProtect has been around since 2009 helping Motorists, so we’re pretty well established. And after thinking about this in great detail, its obvious that we *can* support a small percentage of Lifetime Memberships.

The key thing is that it must be a small percentage.

And that’s the reason we’re offering just 100 Memberships to BTST and existing DriveProtect
Members.

We’ll have a strict maximum number of Lifetime Memberships offered going forwards each year, to ensure that DriveProtect always has the Membership income to service Members when you need legal advice and representation at Court.
