Our T&C’s are short and sweet so you can read them easily – please do :- )
As as with any speeding lawyer(or other type of lawyer for that matter), some people will like the legal advice they receive and some will not. The lawyers we use work to the highest possible standards to make sure they live up to our expectations but occasionally a Member may not like the advice they are given.
An example of this would be when a new Member tells the lawyer that they are guilty of a speeding offence and that they want to “get out of the speeding ticket“.
In such cases, lawyers are obligated under the law to advise the Member to plead guilty, and then seek to get the best possible mitigating circumstances for that Member. However, the Member may (understandably) feel that this is not the legal advice they want to hear.
This is not a reason for a refund of the joining fee, however.
The best scenario is for you to be happy with the advice you receive and be on the same page as the speeding lawyers about the strategy for your defence.
If in doubt, drop us an email and we will be happy to clarify!
Drive Protect offer a discounted rate for Members who are over the age of 65 when joining.
If a member reaches the age of 65 during Membership, confirmation will need to be received by the Membership Team to approve moving them over to the discounted rate.
This discount is discretionary.
We can not retrospectively apply an “over 65” discount.
In in doubt, just ask!
We may change the Terms & Conditions and/or Terms of Service from time to time and will endeavour to let Members know if there are any “big” changes that we think you need to know about.
However responsibility lies with the Member to check the service is suitable for them regularly.
We can not apply a retrospective discount or refund Membership fees if you discover that Membership is not suitable or has not been suitable for your personal circumstances.
If you are unsure or have any questions at all, please send us an email and we’ll be happy to help :- )
These are quite boring, but we need to have them…
